Frequently asked questions.

Is it safe to be adjusted during pregnancy?

Yes—absolutely! Chiropractic care during pregnancy is not only safe, it’s often one of the best ways to support your changing body. Adjustments are always tailored to your stage of pregnancy and your individual needs. Dr. Skylar is specially trained and certified in prenatal chiropractic care, with extra expertise to safely support both you and your growing baby.

Can Kids get adjusted?

Absolutely—and it’s often incredibly beneficial for them! Dr. Skylar has experience adjusting children of all ages, from day-old newborns to busy toddlers and growing teens. Pediatric adjustments are very different from adult ones—there’s no twisting, cracking, or popping. Instead, care is gentle, calming, and tailored specifically to your child’s age and needs.

Does it hurt to be adjusted?

Adjustments should never be more painful than what you’re already experiencing. If you're coming in with pain or tension, some discomfort at first is normal—but most patients find that as their body begins to heal, adjustments actually start to feel really good! Dr. Skylar always works within your comfort level and checks in to make sure each adjustment feels safe and supportive.

If I get adjusted once will i have to come forever?

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach and no pressure to commit to lifetime care. That said, many families choose to continue with regular chiropractic care because they love how it helps them feel and function. Just like brushing your teeth or exercising, chiropractic is a great way to support a healthy lifestyle over time.

Do you take insurance?

We don’t bill insurance directly. That’s because insurance companies often limit or dictate care—and we believe your health decisions should be made by you, not your insurance provider. By operating as a cash-based practice, we’re able to keep care more affordable and personalized. If you have out-of-network chiropractic benefits, we’re happy to provide a super-bill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

How much does a visit cost?

New patient appointments are $150, and follow-up visits are $60. If you're bringing in your whole family, we have special options just for you! Reach out to Dr. Skylar to learn more about family memberships and pricing designed specifically with families in mind.
